Hello, and welcome to my space, or should I say “our” space! I have spent many years in Educational Technology, have participated in many conferences and also been responsible for many of my own presentations. What always seems to at these “events” is that there are the folks that get excited, and then there are the folks that will say that technology is a great tool, but we have yet to find ways where it truly integrates into what we do in a classroom.Although I would love to disagree with this, I believe that (at least for the most part) this is true. Of course, there are the pockets where technology is being used in truly effective ways.So, how to we integrate all the possible, in what people say is the impossible with all the constraints that we have…. filters, AUP, networks, etc?Although this Blog will not be the be-all and end-all, I hope that it will prove a valuable resource on how this journey can begin.Hopefully, we can take all that conference excitement and make the “rubber meet the road!”
